Today the High Commission for Development of Riyadh has published it’s census. In the year 2009, Riyadh’s number of residents has grown 4% with an estimated 4,878,723 million residents. It has also been indicated that out of 4.8 million 68% are of Saudi nationality, with 32% expats. Males are represented with 55% verse 45% of females.
The commission conducts periodic studies of development issues such
as demographic research to measure population characteristics and size, which it says help identify future needs such as housing, health and education, and the number of jobs that need to be created. – Okaz/SGRelated Ways to Take Action:
